Rattana Guesthouse & Bungalow ★★★

The staff are so nice, since the first minute we got there they gave us such a warm welcome, the pad thai is so good and the pool was also great. Totally recommend

The location is great, and everyone were really nice and helpful! The room was a bit old but was also very clean so it didn't bother us. Was very quiet compared to the surrounding.

The AC just was in a funny angle so managed to flow directly at me in bed

My experience in Rattana guesthouse was EXCEPCIONAL! I loved it! The staff (the owner's daughter) is the friendliest and the most helpful person ever. We've been traveling for 10 months and never found such a great host before. I felt like they really care about their guests. They have a little restaurant (very affordable), I had breakfast there every day for a month. They also offer laundry service. The place is located in a quiet place, apart from the crazy party zone in chaweng, so you can chill in a peaceful environment. The garden is lovely. The beach is close. Rooms are basic but with everything you need. It's clean! We highly recommend Rattana guesthouse! ️️️

Rooms can use an upgrade

We had an amazing stay! It was super clean, super comfortable, the whole hotel was so beautiful and nicely quiet with all the plants and the pool. The staff was extremely friendly, we couldn't have asked for more. There is also a room service every day and each day you get a new bottle of water. We would definetely come again!

The beach is very close, but the sea bit close to the guesthouse is not the nicest in our opinion. The water is just so still and that's why there are some plants. We always walked a bit to the right alonh the beach, where we felt a bit more comfortable as the water was more clear. It is just a small walk though and we definitely preferred our guesthouse over every other hotel we saw along the way!

Great location, clean rooms and very helpful staff!

Stayed 4 times now and the hostess is great. Swimming pool is good. Restaurant is good with wide variety of food.

Their WiFi still needs improvement as poor particularly in the evenings.

Everything was perfect. The resort is amazing with such a nice pool garden area in the middle. The rooms/bungalows are around the garden and every room has a nice view. The pool is great and clean. The room (we had a superior room) was spacious and equipped with everything we needed (shampoo, soap and every day 2 bottles of water for free). What’s really nice is that every room has chairs on its terrace/balcony, so you can enjoy the time outside. Beach is just 200m down the street. Located in a quiet street but close to the main street where all the restaurants and bars are. The resort has an own restaurant with delicious food for good prices (the currys are amazing) and an own small shop for daily products, also for a good price. The best part about the resort are the warm-hearted owner and the staff. Especially the owner‘s daughter takes great care of you and is extremely nice. You can ask for anything and she is always there when there is a problem. All in all we had a perfect stay there and can recommend it 100%, especially considering the price you pay.

Food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were polite and arranged onward travel to Koh Phangnan for us.

The room had a musty smell to it, noticeable each time you entered. TV channels were limited. Only 1 plug socket in the room. Bathroom took a long time to drain after showering. Rooms were not cheap and you did not get too much for the money.

Had building working starting at 8am everyday if my stay so couldn't just chill and sleep in . Which is a massive thing if your on your holidays . Very unhappy with that . The pool pump wasn't working which created a film on the top of the pool which wasn't nice to

The rooms were spacious and the guesthouse had a pool.

They would not let us use the phone and the shower was terrible.

Just the swimming pool

Air conditioner of the rooms were not working they kept changing the rooms again and again. And at the middle of night it again stopped working I complained abd they said why u put the temperature on 23 u have to put it on 27 and went away. And we slept in a hot room full of mosquitoes asked them to spray they said we only spray at the time or toom cleaning. The owner took all the money right away and we could not do anything about our problems

Good location & staff very friendly. It also has a little shop on the hotel which is very handy.

I book the lux double room for three nights,but only to find I got a twin beds room instead on the first day. The room is full of mosquito and bed sheets smells stale sweat…And after we have changed room the next day,we were told only on first day we are offered two bottles of water …what bad excuse……
